The U.S. may hold the nickname of "America the Beautiful," but the awe-inspiring scenery, breathtaking views and one-of-a-kind outposts stretch far beyond the borders of the states.

LoveExploring compiled a list of the "most beautiful attractions" found around the "vast and diverse" continent that is North America, searching for incredible spots like "captivating cities," sparkling waters in hidden lakes and picturesque wilderness stretching as far as the eye can see. Among the list is one gorgeous spot in Georgia.

Savannah, which seems to bridge the gap between man-made beauty of the glory of nature, was praised as one of the most beautiful places in all of North America.

Here's what the site had to say about this stunning spot:

"Savannah is the epitome of Southern beauty and charm, from its grand Georgian mansions to each tendril of Spanish moss that drapes elegantly from its hefty oak trees. Nature has a way of interplaying with the city's man-made attractions to make it even more gorgeous, from the oaks that shade Forsyth Park to riverfront warehouses and bold pink azalea blooms, which brighten parks and cemeteries in springtime."
