A 73-year-old man, identified as Jacinto Remigo, tragically fell to his death from a sixth-floor apartment window while trying to escape a home invasion in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood on Saturday (November 23). According to the New York City Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. when one of the suspects entered the apartment through a window and then let in two other accomplices.

During the chaos, Remigo attempted to escape by climbing out of a window. He fell from the window and landed on the scaffolding below. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
