USC women's basketball star JuJu Watkins has signed a name, image and likeness deal with State Farm, the insurance company announced on its social media accounts Monday (November 25).

"A basketball star AND a good neighbor? Welcome to the neighborhood @Jujubballin," State Farm wrote on its X account.

State Farm previously signed Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark to its first collegiate NIL deal during her final season at the University of Iowa last year and announced it would serve as the title sponsor for, Unrivaled a new 3x3 women's basketball league that will take place during the WNBA offseason launched by former Team USA and UConn teammates Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx and Breanna Stewart of the WNBA champion New York Liberty.

“We want to make sure we represent the diversity of customers that we serve,” said Kristyn Cook, State Farm’s chief marketing officer, via CNBC.

Watkins, 19, was a unanimous first-team All-American during her freshman year at USC last season, averaging 27.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.6 blocks. The Los Angeles native is currently averaging 22.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 3.4 steals and 2.6 blocks.
