Can you guess the most beloved food for people in Georgia?

From the hearty gumbos packed with flavor found in Louisiana and the juicy king crab with melted butter served in Alaska to the fresh fish tacos perfected in California and the unique meaty product known as scrapple in Delaware, each state has one dish that stands out from all the rest.

According to a list compiled by LoveFood, the "most-loved dish" in all of Georgia is the peach cobbler. While this sweet, fruity and flaky dish a Southern classic (and for good reason!), you can bet you'll find the best peach cobbler in the Peach State. Many restaurants and bakeries offer up their own twist on the sweet staple, but the cobbler found at Aunt Evelyn's Peach Cobbler in Atlanta is a definite must-try.

Here's what LoveFood had to say about this beloved dish and which restaurant serves up an amazing take:

"Nobody does this dreamy combination of sweet, juicy peaches covered with a comforting blanket of batter quite like the Peach State. Popular throughout the Deep South, peach cobbler is typically served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in Georgia. Pick up a traditional slice at Aunt Evelyn's Peach Cobbler in Atlanta, and savor both the caramelized edges and the gooey center."
