Ukrainian authorities are cautioning residents about phony online psychics after a self-proclaimed clairvoyant used social media to swindle a heartbroken woman. According to a local media report, the all-too-familiar case of a misbehaving 'mystic' came to light earlier this week when the Regional Prosecutor's Office for the city of Chernivtsi detailed the matter on social media. The suspect, they explained, "created an Instagram page to position herself as a 'clairvoyant' and offer fortune-telling services, tarot readings, and 'relationship restoration.'"Specifically, prosecutors said, the phony mystic "convinced clients that she was able to return a loved one through rituals and cards."
